In an another story, OnePlus CEO has revealed some key details regarding its upcoming smart TV.
According to the tipster, OnePlus would launch the OnePlus 7 Pro alongside its standard OnePlus 7 during an event in May. Then, it turns out that a OnePlus 7 Pro model will also come out, and it will have higher specs than the normal model. Teenage leaker Ishan Agarwal, who has been posting scoops on Twitter about various phones in recent months, including the Pixel 3 and OnePlus's most recent phones, says the OnePlus 7 will launch on May 14th.
Company CEO Pete Lau stated that the company would like to focus on smart TV instead of working on foldable smartphones, as foldable smartphones don't offer anything extra compared to a normal smartphone. As per various leaks and rumors it is expected that company might launch three variants of the smartphone. Following the step of companies like Samsung and Huawei, OnePlus is also said to launch three smartphones this year. Out of the box, the OnePlus 7 Pro will run on Google's Android Pie and an updated version of Oxygen OS.
Agarwal hasn't confirmed the venue, time and details about the India launch. That variant of the phone will probably be considerably more expensive than the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro.
There were rumours that Chinese smartphone makerOnePlus is to launch the first of two OnePlus phones for 2019 in the coming weeks. "To make the TV really smart you needed a company that knows smartphone by heart".
Talking about the potential of the company's plans for the TV market, Lau said that today the center is the smartphone, but we will soon add a television using the same method.
