"I think that competition is good in our party", the senator from Minnesota said, telling Harlow that former President Barack Obama has been telling 2020 candidates that he believes the more the merrier in the nomination fight. "I understand the democratizing power of the internet, and how transformative it was for me personally, and how it leveraged the extraordinary intelligence of these people all over the country who were sharing ideas and techniques", he said. The Times notes the similarities between Amy Sanders O'Rourke, Nancy Reagan and Barbara Bush, who all frequently offered silent support for their husbands during important moments.

Some wondered when the Twitter account dedicated to O'Rourke's hands would be created. Ted Cuz, he said Trump should be impeached. "I want this to be your campaign - a campaign by all of us for all of us that answers not to the PACs, corporations, and special interests but to the people".
