Batshuayi set to end Valencia loan spell

VALENCIA and Chelsea have come to terms with the cancelling of Michy Batshuayi loan deal which was supposed to run until the end of the season. "We are negotiating the player's exit with various other clubs", Alemany said, according to Sky Sports.

"I expect he will leave in the coming hours or days".

"The player knows. For the good of the player and the club, we are looking for a solution".

After becoming a maligned figure last season, the striker was loaned to Borussia Dortmund in January where he scored nine goals in 14 appearances.

But he has struggled to make an impact at Valencia and Alemany said an official announcement regarding his departure from the club could be imminent.

Sources at Galatasaray revealed to Turkish-Football that Batshuayi is a target and that the club will launch an official loan bid once his contract with Valencia is terminated.

With Chelsea linked with big money moves for Gonzalo Higuain, it would appear the writing is on the wall for their former Marsielle striker.

The French club are on the verge of signing Cesc Fabregas from Chelsea with a three and a half year deal agreed with the player and the transfer agreed with the selling club.

Everton had been considering a bid of up £18 million ($23m) for Batshuayi given they are unable to sign him on loan.

If we take into consideration, his terrible record with Valencia this season, there is always a risk associated in signing Batshuayi but a loan deal till the end of the season certainly wouldn't hurt Everton from a financial perspective, especially with Chelsea likely to sign a new forward this month.
