The hunt is on for Black Friday savings

You're in luck. Black Friday is nearly here, and so are all those deals you've been anxiously waiting for all year.

The official Black Friday deals will drop on Thursday, November 22 at 6 p.m. ET, all you have to do is click through to the Amazon.ca/blackfriday link.

The high street crisis, from which 85,000 retail jobs have disappeared in the first nine months of this year, means shoppers have not had to wait until November to get their hands on a bargain as desperate retailers cut prices to attract shoppers. Bed sheets. Which doesn't make a whole lot of sense, considering how many fantastic deals on bed sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers, inserts, and more are out there on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. That's $50 off the original price and the lowest price we've seen on this device.

There's are also a lot of great deals available between now and Black Friday.

If you're wondering how to plan your Black Friday shopping agenda, you might want to key an eye on which stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day 2018. But in recent years the event has become more sedate as shoppers surf the internet from their sofa to find the best deals, particularly on coveted home appliances and personal gadgetry such as smartphones and fitness trackers.

Nordstrom is running a series of sales leading up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with discounts of as much as 60 percent off select items.
