The final form of Litten, a starter Pokemon first introduced in Pokemon Sun and Moon, Incineroar's throws will be slightly more powerful than other characters', while the rest of his arsenal is made up of moves like Cross Chop, and recovery move that boosts Incineroar up and back down in a "V" shape, and a Darkest Lariat cyclone attack.

Just when you thought that Nintendo had given everything they were willing to, the Direct closed out with the announcement of the World Of Light Adventure Mode which'll see players making their way across a map encountering different incarnations of the characters, much in the same vein of the SoulCalibur series.

It looks like Nintendo will be drip-feeding new characters in paid DLC, with current plans for five add-on packs each with a brand-new fighter, new fighting stage, and additional bonus tracks to underscore the action. Brawl's stickers, taken to a new level. It also announced Spirits would replace collectible trophies. Or, with Mega Man's Guts Man, who will power up the enemy to not flinch easily, and use more grabs and throws than usual. In fact, there are 59 assist trophies that can be used within the game!

The game is due out on the Nintendo Switch on December 7. It also announced Smash World which the connects to via the Switch Online app. But it does contain a Mii Fighter outfit, and Xenoblade Spirits and music from the Xenoblade Chronicles.

DLC has been confirmed for the game that will be out post launch.

What about the sixth DLC character?

Nintendo also promised future expansions of more characters through downloadable fighter passes. All the characters won't be known yet, but the pass is $24.99.
