The Patriots ultimately won the game on Stephen Gostkowski's 28-yard field goal as time expired, handing the Chiefs their first loss of the season. They will without a doubt go down as the best players at their position.

The Patriots' offense is captained by an all-time great who orchestrates game-winning drives like few before him. But looking beyond the win/loss record, the Pats have weaknesses that were on display.

Thielen's 58 catches not only leads the National Football League now but is the most ever by a player in the opening six games of a season. It's nearly become normal to see the Patriots down by one score in the fourth quarter and feel at it.

"(Gronkowski) is a damn good player", Chiefs cornerback Orlando Scandrick said. "Talk about competing for 60 minutes".

Scoring is definitely up this season, the Patriots v Chiefs was the third game this season where both teams scored 40 points or more - there had only been two in the previous three years. As for what this means for the Chiefs and Patriots in the latest rankings for Week 7, well let's jump right into it once again, starting off with the 1-4 San Francisco 49ers, who will be facing the Green Bay Packers on Monday night. The play knotted the score at 40-40 with 3:03 left to play in the game, with Hill getting deep into the secondary and then accelerating away, stealing back the momentum for Kansas City and setting up an unbelievable finish.

Hill put on an impressive performance as he finished with seven receptions for 142 yards and three touchdowns. "I think we deserved it". Even though the Chiefs lost, they played a great game against New England, and could very well be facing them in the AFC Championship Game this season. Because Patrick Mahomes and the surging Chiefs simply couldn't be stopped. "Don't get mad about it because it comes with the territory, '" Hill said after the game.

Said Brady, "It was pretty good". White knew he'd have to beat single tacklers going into the game, and simply elevated himself to make that happen in crunch time. Had Gostkowski missed, it would have forced New England into having to score a touchdown to win the game and it can't be understated how important that field goal was.

"That's what the football season is all about". We'll see you tomorrow.
