Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson call off engagement; find out why

Ariana Grande and her fiancé Pete Davidson have reportedly broken up and called off their engagement, according to multiple United States media outlets.

Many claimed that they were not surprised at all.

Things took off quickly from there, as fans noticed they already had matching tattoos - but that was nothing compared to the online frenzy when they got engaged three weeks later. Around that time, Davidson commissioned a custom-made ring that Grande had been spotted wearing.

In September, the couple announced they would be taking some time away from the spotlight. Grande dated him from August 2016 until May 2018, and he supported the singer through the psychological aftermath of the suicide bomb attack during her concert in Manchester in 2017.

Meanwhile, Ariana has shared a number of emotional messages on her social media, with one saying simply: "Can i pls have one okay day". "I'm so exhausted pls". During a Weekend Update segment, Davidson delivered a monologue about living with Grande. He was seen at a Yankees game with his Grande-inspired neck tattooed covered up with a large heart. According to Us Weekly, she had pulled out of an appearance at a cancer benefit scheduled for this past Saturday for personal reasons.

Neither Grande nor Davidson have commented publicly on the reports. News. "And while I was frustrated, being the manager, my wife, being who she always is, just looked at me and she goes, 'She needs this time'".

However, TMZ reported it was completely over between the young couple yesterday.

Davidson's social media accounts appear to be inactive.

Looking directly at the camera, Frankie then tells Ari: 'You know you've got to keep, keep on breathing - that's true'.
