Brett Kavanaugh Denies ‘Twilight Zone’ Allegations from Avenatti's Client Julie Swetnick

"Avenatti is a third rate lawyer who is good at making false accusations, like he did on me and like he is now doing on Judge Brett Kavanaugh", the president tweeted. First, he refers to Avenatti as a "lawyer to porn stars" because he represents Stormy Daniels, an adult film director and performer, in her lawsuit against President Donald Trump. Avenatti is also considering a 2020 Democratic presidential bid.

While Republicans have suggested that the recent spate of allegations against Kavanaugh are politically motivated and created to prevent him from being confirmed to the Supreme Court, Democrats have said they favor an FBI investigation into the accusations before Kavanaugh can be confirmed - something which Republicans say is just a delay tactic.

Four months worth of pages from the green and white 1982 calendar were released by the Senate Judiciary Committee. "What [these allegations] portray is a pattern of vile, predatory sexual attacks".

"I am innocent of this charge", Kavanaugh says.

But Kavanaugh says what he has been accused of by Ford is altogether different. I observed Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh as extremely close friends during the early 1980s when I knew them and interacted with them.

"I'll let you know Thursday night", he told reporters.

Some also pointed out that Swetnick's claims matched those of an ex-girlfriend of Mark Judge, Kavanaugh's high school classmate who Swetnick named as allegedly joining Kavanaugh in gang-raping girls at house parties in the 1980s.

Swetnick claimed that she witnessed Kavanaugh and Judge at parties engaging in "highly inappropriate conduct, including being overly aggressive with girls and not taking "no" for an answer".

And then comes the most serious of the claims against Kavanaugh: "I also witnessed efforts by Mark Judge, Brett Kavanaugh and others to cause girls to become inebriated and disoriented so they could be "gang raped" in a side room or bedroom by a "train" of numerous boys". Swetnick says in her declaration, "I have a firm recollection of seeing boys lined up outside rooms at many of these parties waiting for their "turn" with a girl inside the room".

The lawyer for the latest woman to accuse Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct issued a warning Wednesday to those looking to discredit her. Judge, who has written about his alcohol-fueled years at Georgetown Prep, had denied the claim made by Blasey that he was in the room during an attempted assault by Kavanaugh when they were teens.

She claims in the affidavit that she was the victim of one of these alleged gang rapes in approximately 1982, and that Kavanaugh was allegedly present when it occurred. The centrist Republican from ME did not, however, address how the new claims would affect her vote. An attorney for Deborah Ramirez, the second accuser, said Tuesday on CNN that Republicans on the committee did not participate in a scheduled phone call earlier that day to discuss her allegations.

Ford, a professor from California, has alleged that a drunken Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when both were teenagers in Montgomery County.

Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) stressed that this was part of the process they have tried to use with everyone who has come forward with information about Kavanaugh.
