Rather than focus on E3 in June, Nintendo holds its own event, Nintendo Direct, in September.

Isabelle from Animal Crossing may have been a surprise for many people, but it's actually been leaked quite a while ago, that she including others will part of the full roster of the highly anticipated game.

Here is all you need to know about the announcements made at the September 13 Nintendo Direct update. Dedicated portable-only players can look forward to Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn, Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, YO-KAI WATCH BLASTERS, and a remake of the original GameCube Luigi's Mansion. Not much has been revealed about the game other than it will be released in 2019.

The game involves players inhabiting a village with anthropomorphic animals, performing a range of tasks and activities including collecting things, socializing and spending in-game currency.

One of the biggest complaints about Nintendo Switch through its first year and a half on the market has been the lack of cloud saves. Among them will be 20 classic NES games reimagined with online multiplayer components. DS, Wii and 3DS incarnations followed, alongside a number of spin-offs. U Deluxe will be available starting January 11 on Switch. The New Super Luigi U expansion will also be in the package.

Square Enix is bringing a bunch of games from the Final Fantasy series to both Switch and Xbox One.

With just a few days to spare before the service launches, Nintendo has told us basically everything there is to know about Nintendo Switch Online.
