Watford vs. Tottenham Hotspur - Football Match Report

Manchester United returned to winning ways after losing two of their opening three games with a 2-0 victory over Burnley.

They have won their first four league games for the first time since 1988 and remarkably sit level on points with leaders Liverpool and second-placed Chelsea heading into the worldwide break. "Look at the set-pieces and if you concede one then the leaders say "OK, it's not happening again".

"Of course, I'm disappointed with the result, but the reality is clear, this is why we lost".

Tottenham's start has still been a strong one with nine points out of 12, but they will go into the worldwide break furious that they threw this one away. We conceded two goals that if you want to be a contender, you can not concede.

"We need to show more respect to this competition", Pochettino said.

"To show we are a contender we need to be winning games", Pochettino told his post match press conference. "We need to compete much, much better".

When does the Premier League return?

"It is disappointing because in the second half we scored, but then be more aggressive, be more strong in the situation [where Watford scored], because in every single game, you are going to find this sort of situation", he said.

However, Mauricio Pochettino has warned his players not to get ahead of themselves as they still have a lot of work to do to prove they are ready to challenge the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool for the title this season.

Chairman Daniel Levy said: "We are all focused on ensuring contractors deliver our new stadium in the shortest possible period of time and opening our stadium at the earliest opportunity".

"There is no other place in the world I would rather play football".

"Everybody is happy because to get four wins in a row is not easy and we are enjoying it, the players, the supporters", Gracia said.

The best chance came in the 12th minute with Dele Alli latching onto a long pass from Toby Alderweireld, but the England international's looping header went just over Ben Foster's crossbar.

Chelsea also had a far from easy afternoon against previously winless Bournemouth but second half goals from Pedro and Eden Hazard secured the points for Maurizio Sarri's men, meaning the Blues go into the worldwide break with maximum points from their four games played.
