The Canadian rapper visited 11-year-old Sofia Sanchez on Monday at the Lurie Children's Hospital during his tour's stop in Chicago. For starters, she and her cousin did the "In My Feelings" challenge in the hallway at the hospital three days before her birthday. "I hope you come and cheer me up!"

Superfan Sofia Sanchez, who was preparing to undergo surgery at the Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago, had been longing to meet the rapper.

Lurie Children's staff posted a video of Sanchez completing the dance challenge on August 15, and in the caption asked Sofia's idol Drake to visit her for her birthday.

"We're told he spent an hour in her room and they talked about a lot ... from his music, her love of cheerleading and their shared interests (Bieber, owls, and basketball)", notes TMZ, adding that they even sang a song together.

She's a huge fan of Drake and posted a video of herself doing the "Kiki Challenge", hoping the rapper would see. She also taped a video message from her hospital bed asking Drake to visit her.

Sanchez is a heart patient who has been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy and has been waiting for a new heart for weeks, according to the hospital's YouTube page. It has one of the largest pediatric heart transplant programs in the Midwest and was recently ranked the 3rd best Pediatric Cardiology & Heart Surgery hospital in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.

Honestly, it kind of looked like he was the one who was getting to meet his favorite artist on his birthday - but Sofia was really the mega fan.
