Sunshine and warm temperatures once again in the forecast today with highs topping out in the upper 80's to mid 90's.
A flood watch has been issued for most of northern and central New Jersey as strong and severe thunderstorms are expected to impact parts of the state.
In addition, there may be some vivid lightning and damaging, straight-line wind gusts within any of these storms. Showers and storms are likely each of the next two afternoons, especially Tuesday, before dry, less humid weather sets up through late this week. This would be a factor in how hot it gets so think highs could range anywhere from the mid 80s to low 90s.

Wednesday and Thursday will be both be mostly sunny with a high in the low-80s.
Tomorrow night: A few, late evening, showers/storms then clearing. "Any storms will be capable of producing 1 to 2 inches of rain in less than an hour". However, the European Model is forecasting more of a coastal storm scenario. Forecasters said there's a 30 percent chance of showers on Sunday, and thunderstorms are possible Sunday night. Highs in the low 90s. Highs will be in the low 80s.
A very humid, tropical air mass will be in place through today.
