Royal family release new christening photo of Kate cradling smiling Prince Louis

Prince Louis' official christening pictures have been released by Kensington Palace, as Kate Middleton and Prince William proudly share new snaps of Prince George and Princess Charlotte's new baby brother.

There has been something of a royal baby boom in recent months, and it extends to those beyond members of the family, it seems.

The pictures, taken by Matt Holyoak, show a very close family, as Charlotte looks lovingly at Prince Louis, and Meghan and Harry link arms.

"I was truly honored at being asked to take the official photographs at the christening of Prince Louis, and to witness at firsthand such a happy event", Holyoak is reported saying in the Mirror.

A larger group photo included Kate's parents, Carole and Michael, and her siblings, Pippa Middleton and James William Middleton.

In one of the photos of the family, while everyone else is focused on the camera, Charlotte is keeping an eye on her new little brother.

Photographer Matt Holyoak, who took the portraits of the Queen and Prince Philip previous year for their 70th wedding anniversary, was chosen to be the official photographer.

Meghan got some flak for holding her husband's arm in the photo from a few Debbie Downers, with some calling her "clingy", but most people oohed and aahed over the attractive family snaps.
