Walmart Accidentally Leaks Borderlands 3 And Rage 2 Ahead Of E3

All of these announcements would make waves at their respective E3 press conferences, so this leak could have a huge impact.

The list of unannounced games found on Walmart Canada's site include highly anticipated titles like a Splinter Cell reboot, Gears of War 5, Borderlands 3, Rage 2, an unannounced Assassin's Creed game, Forza Horizon 5, Just Cause 4 and more.

The screenshot was shared by Wario64 on Twitter, a name that long-time readers may well recognise as he's revealed a few interesting tidbits over the years. Numerous games are unannounced sequels, some of which many expected were in development. Others, such as Rage two, Gears of War 5 and Forza Horizon 5 could only be wishful thinking. E3 2018 runs from June 12 to 14, with the big publisher press conference kicking off the weekend before on June 9. And there's much more to come. The saga has become the face of Microsoft and is one of the strongest franchises in the gaming industry. The last game in the Forza Horizon series was its third installment in 2016.

The Division 2 was announced in March, and Destiny Comet (assuming that's another Destiny 2 expansion and not a trademark infringement lawsuit in the making) is already slated for an E3 reveal. Neither of which is intended for the Xbox One. It's an exciting time to be a gamer. Rage 2 is the one that really stands out from the crowd, but there's also the small matter of the Assassin's Creed game listed (there's no subtitle). Ubisoft is an elite developer.

Some of these titles are already widely rumoured (Splinter Cell and Borderlands 3, for example), but there are few odd placeholder names in there. While it technically could have been guesswork by an employee, this is incredibly unlikely.
