This feature allows users to go back in time up to 30 days to find their files.

Finally, iTunes is now coming to the Windows 10 app store, available in both online and desktop versions, though the updates will be availed through the Microsoft Store. It can be scheduled to be turned on at a particular time like working time for example. The Timeline feature is probably the most interesting one, as it allows users to resume the app states of the apps they used on different (but connected) machines.

-Users can turn on Focus Assist whenever to get things done without distractions, like social media or other notifications. Timeline will also display what you were doing on Edge of Office 365 even when using it on your iOS or Android device. Nonetheless, the name is being changed to "Windows 10 April 2018 Update".

Windows 10 April 2018 Update - previously known as Windows 10 Spring Creators Update - becomes officially available for download on April 30, and is a free update available to all current Windows 10 users.

Focus Assist is a revamped version of the Quite Hours which also includes several new features.

"When you finish, you receive a summary of what came through, whether notifications, emails or updates, while you were heads down".

A new feature called "Timeline" won't be far behind, as it sorts your activities on an - erm - timeline and makes them searchable.

To start Dictation mode, set your cursor in a text field, then press Win+H and start talking, then watch your words appear on screen.

Also, the Windows 10 browser, Microsoft Edge, has also been upgraded.

-The April update brings a variety of new features and improvements to Microsoft Edge - including mute-a-tab, full-screen reading, clutter-free printing, grammar tools and autofill on web forms - all saving users time while browsing the web. "You can now click the audio icon to mute and unmute a tab that is playing sound", Mehdi said.

Just like the past couple of updates, Microsoft has given a visual overhaul to Windows 10 with various fluent design elements in apps and Settings app, which is gradually absorbing the Control Panel and other options across the operating system.

Microsoft also announced new management capabilities and updates in Microsoft 365 to help simplify IT management for the modern workplace.
