Rousey's WrestleMania Debut Was Perfection

This year's WrestleMania of course took place at New Orleans' Mercedez-Benz Superdome, though one fan clearly hadn't forgotten about Hulk Hogan's infamous gaffe back at WrestleMania 30, where a slip of the tongue caused him to refer to the arena as the "Silverdome".

In what has to be the most satisfying match of the night, the Raw Women's Championship was at stake when Alexa Bliss defended against Nia Jax. When asked about internet reviews and commentary on last night's big event, one caller mentions how the female matches were good but some fans said they were too short.

WWE's anointed golden boy Reigns was expected to dethrone Lesnar who is reportedly set for an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) return.

Lesnar physically punished Reigns, leaving him bloodied and battered inside the ring, extending his now yearlong title reign, suggesting his WWE career is not yet over.

The Deadman retired at last year's Wrestlemania after almost 27 years, following a defeat to Roman Reign.

The wrestling fans walked with Balor as he entered, each wearing one of the new WWE rainbow shirts aimed at the Finn Balor fans, or or Balor Club, to promote LGBT inclusion in wrestling.

The Undertaker, who appeared to retire at the conclusion of WrestleMania previous year, had been challenged to a match by John Cena and remained unresponsive.

Cena was forced to sit at ringside as a fan during the opening stages of Wrestlemania 34 as he had promised to do if he did not have a match on the card. Referees hit the ring to check on Stephanie. Elias did however, and after playing his song he felt the wrath of Cena's Attitude Adjustment.

The clothes, which he left in the middle of the ring following his apparent "retirement" previous year were struck by lightning and a bell rang out. There's so many people who encounter tragedies who feel like the world and time won't heal it. Instead, Cena was racing to a match with the out-of-retirement, 53-year-old Undertaker.

In other matches of note, Ronda Rousey, former UFC women's bantamweight champ, made her WWE debut with a tribute to the style of her idol, the late "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. The two came up against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The heelish duo thought they had taken out Bryan before the match even started, but he got back in it and ended up making Zayn tap out to get the win for his team to likely send Owens and Zayn to Raw.

She had been working inside the WWE Performance Center for months and had been working with Kurt Angle, Triple H, and Stephanie behind the scenes for weeks.

Asuka has to defend her streak, while Charlotte Flair has to defend her SmackDown Women's Championship.
