These vending machines will allow you to trade in your spare resources - wood, stone, and metal - and get weapons of varying rarity in return.
This 3.4 video game update adds a new feature that places machines across the Battle Royale island and works by randomly selling three items of rarities in exchange for materials; the higher the rarity, the higher the price. Materials go in, loot comes out.
While Fortnite Battle Royale is completely free to play on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on mobile, a "Battle Pass" can be purchased for 950 V-Bucks (approximately $10) which opens up the opportunity to earn various cosmetics, emotes, and other cool items. One giant map, A Battle Bus, Last one standing wins. Thanks to dedicated players, a new map has been put together showing each location where a vending machine can be found. The problem is that you need to find one to take advantage of the opportunity to buy weapons and items from them. However, if you know where to go, you can skip the treasure map altogether and go directly to the treasure location.
There are five different vending machine types. Each machine is also on a timer so the three items being offered will switch often, though players can hit them with a pickaxe to speed up the timer.
Items found in a Common (white) version will cost 100 materials.
