LiAngelo Ball Drops 72 Points Hours After Declaring For NBA Draft

The UCLA guard announced Monday he will forgo his senior year with the Bruins and enter the NBA Draft. LiAngelo's older brother, Lonzo, was the No. 2 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft and is playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.

"I will be a Spartan for life no matter what", Bridges wrote.

"I want to start by saying thank to all my family, friends, coaches, teammates & Gator Nation", the statement said on Hudson's page.

Bridges, a consensus second-team All-American, will sign with agent Rich Paul and Klutch Sports.

Bridges helped MSU to a Big Ten regular season title, however the Spartans didn't make it far in the NCAA Tournament falling out in the Round of 32 with a 55-53 loss to No. 11 seed Syracuse. Ball has shown a two-way ability because of his size, strength and 3-point shooting, and has already emerged as one of the team leaders and positive voices for Vytautas.

LiAngelo Ball was always thought the least-likely pro prospect of the three players.

Still, skepticism remains over whether he could land with an National Basketball Association team.

Elmore also declared for last year's draft before withdrawing his name.

During his time for Vytautas, Ball averaged 23.8 points and 4.2 rebounds while shooting 40.4 percent from three-point range. Jaren Jackson Jr., and others all have spectacularly high potential and it's expected one or more of those will become future elite-level stars.

It's possible Pierce is just being polite - the Inglewood, Calif., native also mentioned his support for "all the California young hoopers" - but even his politeness is a stretch, as most experts agree there's virtually no chance LiAngelo gets drafted.
