Trump blames armed officer at FL high school

US President Donald Trump in a speech to Conservative activists on Friday implored them to get off their "a**" and "clobber" Democrats in upcoming elections, so that they do not try to repeal the Second Amendment, undo recent tax cuts, and install liberal judges.

"We have a problem".

While some of the more conservative Republicans in Congress also showed up on that list, the notably absent include Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and tea party favorite Sen. We have a group of people that vote against us in a bloc.

On immigration, Trump said: "you think they're giving us their good people?..." The Second Amendment got the most cheers.

No, seriously. The president got a glimpse of himself on one of the screens showing the speech to the cheap seats in the back.

He said his "administration has had the most successful first year in the history of the presidency", touting the passage of the tax bill, confirmation of a record-number of circuit court judges and moving the USA embassy in Israel to Jerusalem as some primary accomplishments. He declared his administration "has had the most successful first year in the history of the presidency", naming tax cuts and a regulatory overhaul as his chief accomplishments.

"By the way, if you only had to choose one, the Second Amendment, tax cuts?"

Trump addressed several issues, including standing for the national anthem and paying respect to late evangelist Billy Graham, who will lie in honor Wednesday in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda.

Officials announced Thursday that Peterson never went inside to engage the gunman at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School while the shooting that killed 17 was underway.

"Why do we protect our airports, our banks, our government buildings but not our schools? When we declare our schools to be gun-free zones, it just puts our students in far more danger".

The president expanded on his push to arm some school officials as a way to curtail more mass shootings, using nearly verbatim language to what NRA Executive Vice President and CEO Wayne LaPierre told the crowd on Thursday - if banks, government buildings, airports and the like are so heavily armed and protected, shouldn't schools be the same way?

"Gun free is an invitation for these insane people to just come in and shoot", Trump says.

During meetings on school safety at the White House earlier this week, Trump suggested arming "adept" teachers with guns - even offering to pay "a little bit of a bonus" to those who carry them.

He has also proposed raising age restrictions on gun purchases and expanding background checks.

"We need people who can take of our children", he said.

There have been some reports recently stating that the assertion that the hair is real adds to Trump's self-recognition, allegedly allowing him to thus create an image of a man more capable of delivering on promises he made to America. "Build the wall!" and "USA!" just like they used to do on the campaign trail.
