Seahawks clean house: Tom Cable reportedly gone, along with Bevell, Richard

In his seven seasons as Seahawks offensive coordinator, Bevell guided them into the top 10 in points scored four times. Additionally, he led the Seahawks in rushing with 586 yards and three touchdowns.

Seattle finished 9-7 and missed the postseason for the first time in six years. He called the plays in Seattle's 43-8 win over Denver in the Super Bowl following the 2015 season.

Late Tuesday night, a story broke reporting offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell had been relieved of his duties.

The Seahawks had unprecedented success with their offense and running game during much of Cable's time with the Seahawks, setting a record with 2,762 rushing yards in 2014. "It's not playcalling", Baldwin said, when asked what ailed Seattle's offense.

The changes to the Seahawks coaching staff keep on coming.

The Oakland Raiders' head coach from 2008-2010, Cable has led one of the weakest offensive lines in the National Football League over the past seven seasons. "We go into a game knowing what the defense is going to give us, the situations we're going to be in". Offensively, that's what we've seen countless time and time again that we do not execute the way we should.

Bevell oversaw Seattle's offense during the most successful run in franchise history, which included five straight playoff appearances and two trips to the Super Bowl, and played a role in the development of quarterback Russell Wilson. You guys (media) can blame Bev all you want to, but the truth of the matter is, Bev is not the problem. There had been a report that the Seahawks could look to bring Bradley back to Seattle, especially if current DC Kris Richard - who interviewed to be the head coach of the Colts on Friday - were to head elsewhere.

One potential candidate to replace Bevell is Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian.
