TRACKING: Dangerous Wind Chills into the New Year

Meteorologist Sarah Fletcher says a cold front moved through Friday night and cold arctic air will take over into the New Year.

Tuesday is when temperatures will reach the single digits above zero.

That high pressure will slowly slide east in our direction by the middle of the week, as the winds and cold both slowly ease by Wednesday.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, high near 15.

Tuesday: Sunny, high near 13. Skies will remain mostly sunny as the cold but quiet weather pattern continues through the first half of the first week of 2018. Hang in there, for a long stretch of incessant cold continues indefinitely.
