Tiger Zinda Hai breaks box-office records on opening weekend

A sequel to Kabir Khan's Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai is touted as the best film of Salman's career.

The occasion was also special and a dual celebration considering the mammoth success of his recent film "Tiger Zinda Hai", which has crossed Rs 170 crores at the domestic box office.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai has taken the box office by a storm and will soon emerge as the highest Bollywood grosser of 2017. Not just that, the black and gold embossed birthday cake also featured the logo of Salman's Being Human organization, which has been reaching new heights with the release of new merchandises. And now in the in the weekday waters, the action thriller bagged Rs 21.60 to bring the total to a sum of Rs 173.07 crore. The film bagged Rs 34.10 crore on its opening day, and romped further to bag Rs 35.30 crore and Rs 45.53 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Tiger Zinda Hai has already collected Rs.200 crore worldwide but is still some figures short to enter the prestigious club in the domestic market. According to early estimates, Salman's film has made another Rs 20 crore (approx) on Wednesday, thus taking the total to Rs 193.07 crore (approx). From thereon, Tiger and Zoya burst from one frame to another by kicking and punching the bad guys.
