Steve Mnuchin got something much worse than coal for Christmas

Someone sent a package wrapped in holiday gift paper and filled with horse manure that was addressed to United States Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and placed on a street in Bel-Air, the Los Angeles Police Department said Saturday evening. KPCC noted that the Secret Service is now handling the investigation.

Sources told NBC that the package included a Christmas card that referenced Mnuchin and Trump.

United States Department of the Treasury (LOS ANGELES) - Fears of a bomb outside Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin's Los Angeles home turned out to be a waste - literally.

Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt, Mnuchin's neighbor and widower of the late Zsa Zsa Gabor, said he was stuck in his house for two hours because of the package.

Before being sworn in as part of the Trump Administration in February, Mnuchin worked as the finance chairman for Donald Trump's campaign for president. When an Instagram user expressed their distaste for taxpayer funds going towards their travel, Linton rudely called the commenter "adorably out of touch", and accused her of sacrificing less than she and her husband do, as they pay more in taxes.
