Colder air moves in through the week with arctic air arriving by next weekend.
A gorgeous, sunny weekend is ahead for Northeast Ohio with temperatures on the milder side for late autumn. Highs in the upper 60s to near 70 are likely by Tuesday. That sunshine paid off with daytimes highs extending into the low and mid-50s for most of eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey, which meant temperatures were 5 degrees above normal for the 1st of December.
Sunday the clouds move in with some gusty winds out of the south. Temperatures will still be warm in the upper 50s.
Skies will be quite clear on Saturday night into Sunday, which will lead to a colder start on Sunday morning, but the sun isn't going anywhere.
Syracuse- Central New York will have mostly quiet and seasonable weather this weekend as an area of high pressure and weak cold front influence the region.
Today: Sunny, breezy. Highs: Low to mid-50s. The clouds should eventually break enough to leave us with sunshine in the afternoon, sending temperatures into the 70s after a mild night when we never dropped below 60ºF. Winds gusting up to 25 miles per hour. We'll have sunny skies Saturday with some clouds moving in Sunday but it will stay dry. It will turn much colder and potentially stormy too. Wednesday will also feature a small rain chance with mostly cloudy skies.
WEDNESDAY: A few rain showers mixed with snow will be possible on Wednesday, with a chilly high temperature of 42 degrees.
