Now, that doesn't leave us with much to go on, but some context would indicate they may be teasing the release of the first Avengers: Infinity War trailer.
Ahead of the Infinity War trailer launch tomorrow, Holland - who plays one of the newest members of the Avengers - "accidentally" jumped the gun on revealing the Infinity War teaser poster. Vanity Fair just did a cover story on both the third Avengers flick and the future of the MCU, so the trailer drop dovetails perfectly with everything else that's going on or is about to go down.
In a feature honoring the franchise's upcoming 10th anniversary, various Marvel and Disney executives indicate that there is no end in sight for Marvel Studios' blockbuster series of interconnected superhero movies, even if some of the most popular characters call it quits in the years to come. As for the poster itself, we don't get a really great look at it but the design mimics the design for the poster for both The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, the former of which was a massive gamble for the MCU.
Directors: Avengers 4 will continue with the same creative team that gave Marvel its successful hits Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War.
Contracts for key actors like Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) are all set to run out after the last Avengers movie. "I know it will not be in ways people are expecting".
Director James Gunn may be doing one of these spin offs based on "Guardians of the Galaxy".
"Hi Tom, I'm so excited to be working with you on Infinity War, I thought you'd like to be the first to see the poster for the movie".
In case you haven't noticed, the marketing campaign for Avengers: Infinity War began this week.
