Patchy morning fog to clear by afternoon


WEDNESDAY: A chilly morning, then sunny and mild. Temperatures drop a few more degrees Tuesday as a dry cold front moves through the area. The showers end later Tuesday morning, and with luck, we'll see breaks of sun late Tuesday afternoon before that 6:12 P.M. sunset.

Today's forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 78 and an overnight low of 39, with a 10 percent chance of snow. Lows will be in the mid-60s with an 80 percent chance of rain.

Monday will start off cloudy with outbreaks of rain spreading across all areas, but this will gradually clear during the afternoon, leaving sunny spells and a slightly warmer feel. West northwest wind 7 to 11 miles per hour. Monday night will have showers with a chance of thunderstorms.

Sunday Night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 8 p.m. South wind around 10 miles per hour. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Low around 43. West wind around 5 miles per hour. West southwest wind 10 to 15 miles per hour.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear - low around 47. Breezy, with a south wind 17 to 22 miles per hour becoming north northwest in the afternoon.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 53. Mostly sunny, with a high near 60.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 77.
