Katy Perry was riding a little too high during her Nashville concert!
Katy Perry got stranded mid-air during a performance this week and needed to crowd-surf her way to safety after an apparent mechanical issue with her floating stage.
She continued, "What should I do?"
"This thing is stuck right now, they're lowering me down - they're talking to me in my ear right now". Upon realizing that her platform could not land on the ground without crushing her audience, Perry got creative. "You'd better put your phones up, it's a YouTube moment!".
What does Katy Perry do when she gets stuck on a Saturn platform midair during a concert?
Eventually, the planet slowly lowered toward the stadium floor. "Should I tell some jokes, should I tell some stories, should I just sing another song?"
"I guess I" m just going to have to get down and walk amongst my people", she said before diving into the crowd.
"It's stressful because you have to be... you have to critique in a short period of time and you don't want to get it wrong... you don't want to be the idiot that said no to the next Kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood", the 41-year-old mused. She's in the middle of a tour now, and part of her set includes a Saturn-shaped part of the stage that's suspended in the air, with Perry on it, surrounded by other planets.
