Mate smartphone from Huawei will be more expensive than iPhone X

The latest photo of the Huawei Mate 10 was posted online by Evan Blass and it gives us a good look at the new device.

Now we have the very first press renders do the upcoming flagship for.

While the Huawei Mate 10 Lite will be the only one in the next-gen Huawei Mate flagship series to come with bezels, its design will not be all too outdated, at least based on the computer-aided design (CAD) renders of the device that found their way to the web.

The bottom bezel houses the physical home button, in which the fingerprint scanner will be embedded. Huawei could have simply placed the fingerprint sensor on the back, but it looks like the company chose to cram the feature on the thin bezel just below the display, as pointed out by 9To5Google.

The device is expected to be equipped with a dual Camera setup on the back which will come with collaboration with Leica as we have send in previous Huawei smartphones.

During IFA 2017, Huawei unveiled a new chipset, the Kirin 970, which it states will not only improve power and performance but also include a "neural processing unit" (NPU).

Huawei is says the Mate 10 is going to be "The Real AI Phone".

The Huawei Mate 10 is scheduled to be announced on October 16. Huawei claims that its NPU will be more capable than the "neural engine" that's on the A11 Bionic ship inside the iPhone X, according to Phone Arena.

The video, which has been shared by Huawei Mobile on Facebook, takes a pot shot at Apple iPhone X's alleged failed FaceID demo on stage during the unveiling of the smartphone on October 12. There is no word on when it would be available to other markets around the globe.
