Danny Ward, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Marko Grujic to start for Liverpool

Liverpool have progressed past the third round in each of the last three seasons, reaching the semi-finals twice and final in 2016.

The Wales global was influential in Huddersfield's promotion campaign having spent last season on loan but the closest he has got to any action so far this term was watching the 4-0 win over Arsenal from the bench in his only selection in a match-day squad. "No, of course Danny Ward will play tomorrow if nothing happens overnight".

Liverpool are already eight points off Manchester United and Manchester City at the top of the Premier League and after such a poor result against Sean Dyche's men, the cup is a good opportunity to lift spirits around the club.

"We have a lot of players who are in good shape", he told reporters at Melwood. It's a fantastic opportunity now for Alex.

Speaking to Press Association, Klopp said: "It is a fantastic opportunity for Alex because since he has been in it has been hard to train on different things because of game after game after game. He had an impact when he came on", said Klopp.

He added: 'We work with him and analysts, show him how we want to play in this position, that position.

Striker Dominic Solanke is also set to be involved and Sadio Mane sits out the second game of his three-match ban.

"We have enough games for the players to get rhythm".

"But already at the weekend [against Burnley], he came on in a hard situation and he did really well". However, Dejan Lovren, who missed the stalemate with Burnley with a back injury, is likely to miss out. He didn't have much match time so far.

"And there are a few others".

"If we can help him and get Danny closer to the first team and back on that pitch at Anfield then we will be delighted to assist him in that because he's been fantastic since he's been with us".
