Leonard Johnson, As the 2017 National Football League steps into its 3rd week of the season, Buffalo Bills takes on vs Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

But after some anxious moments on the Bills' final drive, with the crowd chanting "Keep Pounding", Buffalo's Zay Jones dropped a very catchable ball inside the Panthers 5 on a 4th-and-11 from the Carolina 33 with 0:09 to go.

Olsen had to be carted to the sideline after rejoining the Panthers in the second half.

Greg Olsen Ruled out vs. Bills with Foot Injury

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen suffered a foot injury against the Buffalo Bills and was ruled out.

Carolina quarterback Cam Newton completed 20 of 32 passes for 228 yards.

Julius Peppers: At age 37, Peppers six tackles, including two sacks of Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor, giving him 146 in his 16-year career.

Meeting with reporters in the locker room after the game, Olsen confirmed that the injury, which occurred late in the first half, is a broken foot. The Panthers haven't allowed a touchdown in two games. He has three straight seasons with 1,000 or more receiving yards and four straight seasons with 73 or more receptions. Panthers C Ryan Kalil (sore neck) did not play and was replaced Tyler Larsen. He had one catch for 10 yards at the time of Sunday's injury as the Panthers held a 6-0 lead. The Bills are home next Sunday against Denver.
