The Samus' Gunship battle-car comes in two different variations for the Orange and Blue teams, and they are based on designs of Samus' Varia Suits. While we already knew the Switch version would have Mario-themed hats, we've learned via the Rocket League blog that it'll have cars based on two of Nintendo's biggest properties as well.
If Mario cars are not your thing and you want something more mature and elegant for your Rocket League matches, Psyonix has you also hooked.
Ever since it was confirmed during E3 2017 that Rocket League would be coming to the Nintendo Switch, fans of the sports game have been excited to see what kind of exclusive items will be available on the platform, and the Metroid and Mario cars are likely just the beginning.
Rocket League on Switch will also have some exclusive customizations.
Psyonix made sure to state that all three cars will be available for free as special unlockables in the Nintendo Switch version of Rocket League. Depending on your team, you'll play as one or the other. The second exclusive Battle-Car is Samus' Gunship from Metroid.
In a post on Rocket League's website today we got a good look at what we can expect in terms of customization when the game launches later this year. Like the Mario vehicle, Samus' Gunship features a special boost (Wave Beam) and will have two different variations to match the team you're playing on.
