Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Final Specifications and New Teaser Image Emerge

"The shipment of Samsung's smartphones rose 12 percent year-on-year as USA consumers have posted very positive responses to the new S8 products", said Ken Hyers, an analyst at Strategy Analytics. Samsung and Apple haven't confirmed the key features of their respective devices, but the rumor mill has revealed nearly every detail about the upcoming Note and iPhone, including their dimensions.

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 8 on August 23 during an "Unpacked" event in New York City.

Evleaks leaks a new image ahead of the launch, which shows a boxier design in line with the rest of the Note series.

As for the battery, which was the main culprit for the woes of its predecessor, the Note 8 features a fast-charging 3300mAh battery. These features were reported by Venture Beat. In that Article, he mentioned the detailed specifications of upcoming Galaxy Note 8. The tech industry predicts sales of the Galaxy Note 8 would hit a fresh record-high as it is the first Galaxy Note model in two years after the fire-prone Galaxy Note 7 debacle last year.

The phone is expected to feature a SuperAMOLED display which would feature an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The one difference between the Note 8 and the S8/S8+ is the fact that the edges are a little squared compared to the rounded edges of the S8. The bottom bezel of the phablet is empty.

The launch date of LG's V30 smartphone is believed to be quite close to Samsung and its Galaxy Note 8 unveiling event.

Two major smartphones are being launched later this month with one being the LG V30 and the other being the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. One of the lenses will be a wide-angle unit, while the other is a telephoto lens that enables 2x optical zoom.

Samsung is expected to launch the device on August 23, a week before the IFA begins. The phone will be powered by a 3300 mAh battery and would run on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS, upgradable to Android O. Now, a new teaser image has come to light which gives another hint at the massive display as well as the branding of the device.

To recap, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to serve as an alternative to the Galaxy S8 for those who want a larger device and the distinctive Galaxy Note software, and as such, will boast fairly similar specs.
