West Ham sign Marko Arnautovic from Stoke

"I played against West Ham at the old stadium - I didn't play previous year at the new stadium because I was suspended - but I came to the game and I can only say it is a massive Club with a lot of fans".

A statement on West Ham's official website read, "West Ham United and Bayer Leverkusen have agreed terms for the transfer of Javier Hernandez to London Stadium".

Van Gaal woefully mistreated Chicharito and it was only fair to see him sacked following a season hallmarked by a marked ineptitude in front of goal as the 29-year-old concurrently scored for fun in the Bundesliga.

Hernandez is a proven goal scorer in not only Europe, but also the Premier League.

However, Marko Arnautovicis is due to a medical in next few days to complete the move to West Ham after they agreed on a £24m deal with Stoke City.

Details of the agreement between the two sides have not been disclosed but the transfer fee is reported to be around £13 million.

Again, reports suggest he is having a medical and will be unveiled as the Hammers' club record signing over the weekend.

Arnautovic, who previously played for FC Twente and Werder Bremen, has played 62 times for his country, scoring 15 goals.

The winger's attacking attributes are well known but Adam, who worked with Arnautovic for four years at Stoke, believes the new West Ham signing needs to get better at tracking back to fully endear himself to his new supporters.

West Ham have no issue matching his £13million release clause, but his salary has been an issue - but Hammers sources are now confident this hurdle could be overcome following lengthy talks. By a twist of fate Hernandez will nearly certainly make his West Ham debut against the Red Devils.

Firstly, the price of Hernandez should come as a shock to many.

The new signings will make a huge difference but Lanzini will be pulling the midfield strings.
