E3 2017: Skyrim On Nintendo Switch Adds Zelda Gear And Motion Controls

During Bethesda's E3 briefing today, the company showcased some of the mods which have become available for Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

We do know, however, that the expansion will make its debut on June 29, so you could be playing with brand new cards and completing new missions by the end of the month. Check out the fun trailer below! It's implied that in this chest, the player acquired a BOTW Link outfit, along with a Master Sword and shield. Skyrim will allow you to scan in a The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Link Amiibo and play as Nintendo's hero in Bethesda's world. It's safe to say there'll be some awesome Skyrim-specific cards in the mix, but we'll have to wait a little longer to see what they are. All I'm hoping for is some sweet Princess Zelda garb for my female Kajit. The port on Switch will also include three official add-ons - Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim hits Nintendo Switch later this year.

This short, one-minute teaser showed us some of our favorite parts of the wintery Skyrim universe: werewolves, scholars of ancient magic, and of course, dragons.

First, off the Switch version of Skyrim will have special motion controller functionality via the Joy-Con.
