Will Transformers: The Last Knight, and the two planned sequels, live up to that success? The trailer tells us more about the film's plot details as it looks to explore the Transformer's secret past on earth, as well the reason why they keep returning to the planet. Granted, that's a feeling that many harbor toward the entire Transformers franchise, never mind the actual robots in disguise, but this global sizzle reel has us intrigued nevertheless. Michael Bay is still in charge and offers us a film with all the ingredients of a successful blockbuster: action, humor and a rather cool casting! Check out the new trailer below. As Cade and Co. fight back, they also learn the secret history of the Transformers: these robots have fought alongside humans for centuries.

The Last Knight is the fifth installment in the core Transformers series that began a decade ago with Transformers and the first since 2014's Age of Extinction.

Starring in the movie is Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Anthony Hopkins, Laura Haddock, Jerrod Carmichael, Isabela Moner, and Santiago Cabrera. Along the way, Optimus kills more Transformers than you can count, and a human-sized robotic messenger walks Anthony Hopkins's dog. Heroes will become villains.

Transformers: The Last Knight hits theaters on June 21. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager [played by Wahlberg;] Bumblebee; an English lord [played by Hopkins]; and an Oxford Professor [played by Haddock.] There comes a moment in everyone's life when we are called upon to make a difference.
